HITCHCOCK ISD ATHLETICS UIL COVID-19 BASKETBALL PROCEDURES

District 24-3A games when both boys and girls play on same night information.

- Varsity Girls and Boys will play at high school gym (6629 FM 2004, Hitchcock, Tx 77563)

- JV Girls and JV Boys and Freshmen Boys will play at Crosby MS gym (6625 FM 2004, Hitchcock , Tx 77563)

- Fans must purchase ticket online and ticket is good for admission to only one site. Varsity ticket is for high school gym and sub varsity ticket is good for admission to Crosby MS gym. Ticket cannot be used for both.

- Only 134 spectators will be allowed on the high school gym HOME side. Visitor side (behind visiting team bench) will have 67 seats minus sub varsity players for visiting fans.

- Visiting team administrators can determine release dates of unique purchasing game codes for their participants ( e.g. ensure that families of the participants have an opportunity to obtain a ticket) and general admission.

- Home team tickets will go on sale one week before the game with players being able to purchase tickets (3 per player purchased by unique purchasing game codes) followed by general public.

- No tickets will be sold at door.

- Link for online ticketing purchase will be sent one week before game to visiting team administrator.

SPECTATOR PROCEDURES

- Gate workers and concession workers will be screened and temperatures checked and required to wear a mask.

- Spectator areas including restrooms, bleachers, concession stand, score table and other areas will be disinfected before and after games.

- All spectators must wear a face mask at all times, except when eating or drinking(per exc. Order GA-29). Fans must social distance and not sit on YELLOW TAPED AREAS.

- All spectators will use hand sanitizer as they enter the facility. Hand sanitizer will be available at the entry area and concession area.

- After the game, spectators will be expected to leave the gym immediately and meet their team outside the building. No spectators /students will be allowed on the gym floor or to wait inside the facility after the completion of the game.

- No district passes will be accepted from general public at door.
