The Spring Grant Application Window opens tomorrow!!! Please see the information below from the Danbury Education Foundation. This is an excellent way to do some amazing things in your classroom or for the school!
The deadline for submitting applications to me is January 27th at 4:00 pm. This is prior to the deadline provided by the Education Foundation as it allows time for multiple signatures if needed, allows time to review and edit if needed, and does not have anyone running around last minute!
This is the easiest grant application - take advantage of it! We had several grant winners in the fall. I can't wait to see what you come up with this spring!

Happy New Year! Hope you all had a wonderful break and look forward to the spring semester. It is almost time for Spring grant application submissions. This Spring the grant period will be 1/16/2023- 2/10/2023. You can find all the grant application and information in the link below:

A couple of tips
- Even if the submission period has not opened, you can get it all done in advance and just submit during that window.
- Do not wait until the day that it is due to get it signed by your admins or emailed to us. Check with them on when the deadline to take it to the administration is (theirs will be before ours and some grants require multiple signatures)
- If you do not have time to implement your grant by the following semester, please do not submit a grant application. If your grant is awarded we want the grant to be used by the following semester and we do ask to see how it’s being implemented.
- Read all the directions. This is a simple application please follow the directions otherwise your application will be disqualified.
- Think outside of the box. What is something you would love to implement but haven't been able to due to funds?
- Remember our mission: The mission of the Danbury ISD Education Foundation is to support educational excellence, promote innovation in teaching, and partner with the community to enhance the quality of education for all students in Danbury ISD.
- If you received a grant last grant period you MUST send a video/blurb to trina@
danburyeducationfoundation.org . You cannot apply for a new grant if this step is not completed. Please DO NOT text your information. It needs to be in an email, or your grant will be disqualified. - We do not grant items that are part of the district's curriculum or that the district is required to provide. Check with your admins to make sure before you apply.
- Include all pricing and websites to purchase your items. If your items are on amazon create a wish list, you can share this list if your grant is chosen. This makes ordering easier, and you will receive your items faster.
