National Junior Honor Society

The National Junior Honor Society is a student-run organization which focuses on the values of scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.  Students are nominated at the end of their 6th or 7th grade year. To be nominated into the Danbury NJHS Chapter, students will need to make a 90 or better in all core classes.  

 
Membership is a honor and responsibility.  Students inducted into NJHS will be required to maintain at least an 85 average in each class in middle school. Students will also need to complete at least 8 hours of community service, participate in school service projects, and maintain high standards in conduct and appearance.
